Movers and Makers was founded in 2004. we pride ourselves on making each move as stress free for all of our clients. Over the years we have grown from strength to strength allowing us to provide all of our past and future clients with a nationwide service. We have 36 members of staff and 24 vehicles that are fully equipped with tail lifts for moving heavy items, straps to prevent moment during transport, padded blankets to protect your belongings, and most importantly experienced staff.

“Cancelled the Day before the Move”
This company cancelled the move saying it was too complicated. We had discussed the move for weeks and then they cancelled the operation the day before it was scheduled. I contacted another company with the same “complicated” instructions. They scheduled the move four days later and on the day of the move, they returned to their base hours earlier than expected. No overnight was necessary and their charges were within my expectations.

Dear John, Considering the fantastic reputation we have established which is clearly visible online I must respond in a defensive manner. There is context missing from your comment which portrays an unfair image of our company in this unfortunate situation. We allocated a vehicle to your job based off the inventory list and information provided by you. However your inventory continually got bigger and the details of your job significantly changed. These changes occurred right up to the day before the job was scheduled to occur. At this stage the vehicle you had booked could no longer facilitate your requirements and all our other vehicles were already booked. I am happy you were able ro provide the new company the finalised details which were imperative to provide when booking your move. We would have loved to have facilitated you however when other customers had already booked the vehicles and time spans which you actually required this made it impossible to facilitate.
